These Terms of Service govern your use of the Hygeana website and services. By accessing and using our website, signing in to your account, or booking a cleaning service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Pricing
At Hygeana, we charge an hourly rate for our cleaning services. Our rate is $80 USD per hour for each cleaner. The minimum booking duration is 4 hours, and the maximum is 8 hours per booking. We only charge based on the time spent cleaning, so you will be billed according to the actual hours worked by our cleaners.
Please note that we do not offer flat-rate pricing for services. The total cost will be calculated based on the number of hours worked by the cleaners.

2. Account Creation & Information Use
To book services with Hygeana, you are required to create an account on our website. By signing in and using our platform, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. This includes but is not limited to your name, contact information, payment details, and any other necessary information for booking and processing payments.
Privacy and Data Usage: We value your privacy. The information you provide will be used solely for the purpose of processing bookings, providing our services, and improving your experience with Hygeana. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

3. Payment A valid credit or debit card is required to book services with Hygeana. Payments will be charged based on the number of hours worked by our cleaners, at a rate of $80 USD per hour.

4. Service Guarantee We offer a service satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the cleaning, we will re-clean the affected area. If you are still unsatisfied after the re-clean, you are entitled to a full refund for the hours associated with the unsatisfactory work.

6. Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please follow these guidelines:

7. Arrival Window Our cleaners will arrive within a 10-minute window of the scheduled appointment time. For example, if your scheduled time is 12:00 PM, we may arrive between 11:55 AM and 12:05 PM. Please be available during this time window.

8. Safety and Restrictions For the safety of our staff, Hygeana cleaners are not allowed to lift or move heavy items. If you wish for us to clean behind large appliances or furniture, please ensure that these items are moved prior to our arrival.

9.  Behavior and Work Conditions At Hygeana, we are committed to providing a positive and safe environment for both our clients and cleaning team members. If our cleaners encounter any behavior or conditions that create an unsafe or uncomfortable work environment (such as aggressive language, hostility, or hazardous situations), we reserve the right to discontinue the service immediately.
In such cases, the service will be terminated, and no refunds will be issued for the hours worked. The full payment for the time spent on-site will still be charged.
This policy is in line with workplace safety standards, including those established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), which ensures that employees are provided with a safe working environment free from violence or intimidation. If our staff feels threatened or unsafe, we are authorized to end the service to protect the well-being of our team.

10. Subscription Service Hygeana offers a subscription-based cleaning service that provides recurring cleanings at a discounted rate. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:
Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew each month, and the associated charges will be processed using the payment method on file.
Discount Application: The subscription discount based on the selected plan duration will be applied starting from the second cleaning service. The first service will be charged at the standard rate.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the upcoming month.
Payment & Billing: Monthly payments will be automatically processed on the scheduled billing date. If a payment fails, we reserve the right to pause or cancel the subscription until the issue is resolved.
Service Adjustments: Any changes to the subscription, including rescheduling or modifying the cleaning frequency, must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.

11. Modifications to Terms Hygeana reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes, and continued use of our services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
